The wine market in India is growing rapidly, with a 600% increase in imports over the past year. Australia, France, and Italy are currently the main players.
Despite still high excise duties, which are gradually being reduced, importers are developing an increasingly thriving market, and the demand for new wines is growing strongly.
The promotion program is aimed at all producers who have received a score of 88/100 or higher from “Zosimo Wine Critic”. They are offered the opportunity to present their wines through B2B masterclasses and targeted meetings with national Indian importers and distributors.
The “Zosimo Wine Critic – New Opportunities in India” initiative aims to strengthen the presence of those already operating in the country and those looking to seize new opportunities. It is also an excellent opportunity for those who are not yet present in the Indian market and wish to establish a first export contact.
The organization of the groupage for the samples will begin on October 21 and end on November 30, 2024. All samples must arrive at the Zosimo Editorial Office by this date, to be re-labeled with a QR code and the indication “samples not for sale”, and subsequently sent to our correspondents for the presentation program.
For each producer, it is possible to develop a customized program based on individual needs:
Contact:
Develop contacts with importers interested in production.
Appointment:
Organize targeted appointments for the winery’s export office.
I Commit:
Plan visits to the winery to host interested importers.
Engagement:
Promote the winery in the Indian market.
Valorization:
Strengthen the valorization and promotion of wines already present in the Indian market.
All wineries with the required rating and at least one program with 2 adhesive Gold Medal stickers, or at least 1 Gold Medal sticker and 2 Silver Medal stickers are eligible to participate in the program.
